Economic Development Planner
Nathanuel Martinez serves as an Economic Development Planner who joined Five County in November 2020 to lead the organizations economic recovery and resiliency efforts. He is currently developing FCAOG’s Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Economic Development Plan (DRRE) to respond to the current economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In addition to research and analysis, Nathanuel believes that connecting with communities is often the most effective strategy to foster economic wellbeing. He was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona and now resides in Saint George, Utah. Being new to the state has allowed him the opportunity to view each communities unique situation with a fresh perspective while bringing a diverse set of voices to the table.
Nathanuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University. In his free time, he enjoys hiking nearby National Parks, exploring trails with his dog Monty, and is an avid golfer.
